Chemonics Anticipated USAID-funded Kenya Nutrition and Health Plus Project Professionals Jobs in Kenya
Job Description: Chemonics seeks long- and short-term professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Kenya Nutrition and Health Plus Project, which will support management of malnutrition and nutrition and health risks among people living with HIV. 

The project aims to improve access and demand for quality nutrition interventions at community and facility levels, strengthen nutrition commodity management, and improve food and nutrition security. 

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

We are seeking specialists in the following areas: 
Nutrition
Nutrition and health training/capacity building
Clinical training and capacity building
HIV/AIDS
Behavior change communications
Production and distribution of ready-to-use therapeutic foods
Health supply chain management
Health accountability and advocacy
Procurement
Health program monitoring and evaluation
Human capacity development and quality improvement

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in public health, nutrition, or related field
Minimum four years of experience working in health and development programs with substantial expertise in HIV/AIDS interventions and food and nutrition support
Experience working at the county level in health delivery
Successful record in delivery of technical assistance
Strong understanding of the nutrition and HIV/AIDS situation and challenges in Kenya
Experience working collaboratively with the government of Kenya, international donors, and local organizations
Proven managerial/supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Experience with USAID highly preferred
Experience working with gender, development, and vulnerable groups a plus
English fluency required
