Title: Senior Architect
A leading architectural company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Senior Architect.
Responsibilities
- Must be capable of delivering projects from development of inception through to practical completion.
- Competent design skills, technical skills, supervision and programming of jobs is essential.
- Be fully conversant with the Nairobi City Council building legislation and building by-laws in Kenya, in general.
- Ensure that the CISFB numbering/coding system has been properly implemented.
- Fully conversant with CADD drawing office procedure contained in the office manual.
- Identify any discrepancies in CADD manual that requires the attention of the resident director.
Qualifications.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- Must be registered with the Architects Registration Board.
- Must be a holder of a valid passport.
- Must have knowledge of the building by-laws.
- Must have local authority submission procedures.
- Must have knowledge of the business world in which the group operates.
- Knowledge of tropical world architectural issues is desirable.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.300,000 – 500,000(Approx. 3,500 – 5,800USD)depending on experience
