Our
client, a prestigious Law Firm in Africa with clients across all sectors is
looking to fill the position of a Litigation / Arbitration Lawyer. The
successful candidate MUST have relevant international experience.
Key
responsibilities:
Gather
evidence and prepare statements.
Collect
and review documents, interviews witnesses, create visual aids and draft legal
pleadings and motions.
Conduct
an initial case investigation / assessment.
Represent
plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases.
Manage
all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings and
discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement and appeal.
Engage
in pre-litigation settlement discussions to resolve the matter before a lawsuit
is filed.
Qualification:
Must
have a Law degree from a recognized University.
Must
be an advocate of the high court.
Must
have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
Candidates
with international experience will be preferred.
