Territory Sales Manager (Jobs in Kenya, November 2014)

Title: Territory Sales Manager

Our client, the World’s leading innovator in hand and personal protection, focusing on 3 areas; Occupational, Medical and Consumer, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager in Kenya. The successful candidate MUST have strong communication skills, have knowledge in selling through distributors in PPE industry communication skills, has to be energetic, entrepreneurial and with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales volume and increase market penetration via existing and new distribution network within the assigned territory.
  • Formulate clear sales and conversion plans on an annual basis and carry them out within the territory.
  • Work closely with distribution partners by conducting regular sales meetings, delivering necessary training, offering in-field assistance and feeding them with leads.
  • Drive distributor senior management to achieve annual targets and objectives as defined in specific distributor business plans.
  • Implement specific promotional programs, developed by our client for the distributor network.
  • Interface with new and existing end users on a regular basis to drive increase in sales and profitability at customer level.
  • Assess competitors’ activity and feedback market intelligence to sales management.
  • Learn and use Ansell total value solutions selling tool - Guardian.
  • Interface with all key internal and external contacts to assist in development of sales and profit opportunities.
  • Plan and manage his / her territory in an effective manner.
  • To positively and actively promote the Company's image and Values at all times.


 Qualification :
  •  Minimum High School education plus graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience. Knowledge in selling through distributors in PPE industry an asset.
  • Must be fluent in the English language; written and spoken. Grasp of local language(s) an asset.
  • P.C. Literate.
  • Communication tools – prior experience working with CRM, all mobile communication.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Autonomous & Self Starter.
  • Sales Ability & Persuasiveness.
  • Excellent Presentation skills. 

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 42,000 - 47,000/= depending on experience
