Our Company is a leading Cut Flower farm with dealing with growing of Roses for export.

At Red Lands Roses we focus on producing high quality flowers grown using environmentally friendly techniques.
We are the first and only farm in Africa where 100% of cut flower production is grown using hydroponics.  Unrivalled in-house expertise is supported by specialist technical advice.
We seek to recruit a suitable, qualified and experienced professional who is dynamic, self motivated and results oriented.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Qualification: Bachelors in Environmental Studies or a Diploma in Environmental Sciences.
  • Experience Minimum 1 year in flower industry,
  • Knowledge of Fair-trade standards, global gap, KFC, MPS is a must
  • Experience in conducting Health and safety audits,
  • Willing learner, industrious, honest, team    player, report writing and good communication skills.
  •  IT literate will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent English language skills;
Key Responsibilities
  • Is in charge of standards in the company and spearheads various audits e.g. FLO, MPS, GLOBAL GAP, KFC, FLP etc.
  • Assist the HRM in the implementation of the Environmental Health and Safety function (HSE) to ensure the company’s compliance to various flower standards used to audit the company.
  • Ensure annual licenses and memberships are renewed in time before expiry and no fines are levied against the company.
  • In charge of all HSE issues in the company including ensuring staff are issued with proper PPE’s. Ensure Safety standards are adhered to in the company
  • In charge of staff induction and training on company code of conduct and Safety Standards including company HR policies.
  • Assist the HRM in the organisation and implementation of staff training programs and to coordinate communication to NITA/ DIT
