Title: Sous Chef – REF. MUC/AD/14/009
Machakos University College was established through a Legal Notice No. 130 of 5th September 2011. It is the successor of Machakos Technical Training Institute. It is located 1km from Machakos Town along the main Machakos-Wote road.
The University College invites applications for the following position: Sous Chef – REF. MUC/AD/14/009
- Applicants should be holders of at least KCSE mean grade C (plain) and above or equivalent and a Diploma in Food and Beverage Management with at least two (2) years’ experience in a busy kitchen and should be a team player.
- Applicants should be holders of at least KCSE mean grade C (plain) and above or equivalent and a Diploma in Food and Beverage Management with at least three (3) years experience in a similar position in a busy kitchen and must be computer literate.
Terms of Service
The terms of service include basic salary, a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance among others.
Successful candidates will be appointed on permanent and pensionable terms.
Tutorial Fellows will be offered one (1) year renewable performance-based contract, subject to their satisfactory progress in their Ph.D. studies.
Their terms will be converted to permanent and pensionable once they obtain their Ph.D. degrees.
