Our client is a software development company, supplies high quality software products(like HRIS and Mobile applications) and services to its customers worldwide.
They are looking for IT Sales Managers responsible for expanding their clientele by seeking out new customers and sales opportunities for their software solutions and services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accountable for expanding our client’s presence in the country
To act as the liaison between the client and customers, and responsible to see that the customers are maximizing the value of services provided.
Maintain, retain, and up sell to their portfolio of the accounts.
Develop and grow strategic relationship with the accounts, which is mutually beneficial at all levels
Develop and implement Marketing strategies to retain and attract new clients.
Conduct Market surveys and research on ICT.
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Develop and maintain sales materials on the products
Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups
Identify and resolve client concerns and queries promptly
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
Follow-up on collection of payment
Provide on-job-training to new sales employees

Requirements
An MBA will be an added advantage
Possess Bachelors Degree in Business/IT or its equivalent
Relevant Professional qualifications
At least 3 – 5 years experience in Sales and Business Development with a proven track record in revenue goal attainment and sales motivation
Experience in handling ERP software sales
Successful experience in selling with high-value sales engagements with a good network of corporate entities / professionals
Result-orientated, dynamic, self-motivated professionals having a strong desire to succeed in a competitive market place.
Skills & Personal Characteristics
The ideal candidate should possess a very pro-active personality who will demonstrate leadership, high personal standards, a high degree of innovation and professional ethics.
Should possess outstanding sales acumen with a significant track record in closing sales and generating revenue
He / She should excel in solution-based selling, actively network and build trust with prospects, and proactively stay on top of sales opportunities with a strong determination for success.
Should be able to quickly understand business challenges and articulate a solution
Experience in partner management would also be advantageous to support the Sales Director in building a partner network in Africa.
The candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter, possess strong persuasive skills with excellent methodical and tactical skills
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with international prospects.
This position requires a polished individual who should be excellent in English communication skills (in verbal and written form) and closing skills.
