Monthly gross salary: Ksh.425,000 - 680,000/= (Approx. 5,000 - 8,000 USD)Plus housing, food , medical cover and Work permit if necessary.

A
rare and exciting opportunity for a well-rounded individual (or couple) to join
a newly established Luxury Safari Operator as the Regional Director, based in
the Maasai Mara on-site at the camp. The successful candidate would be responsible for the overall performance
of all operations in Kenya. He/ she MUST
have international experience.
Key Responsibility:
Ensure
the smooth operations of all functions of the office, namely: inbound tour
operating, reservations, logistics and financial controls.
Setting
up the supply chain, ensuring value and best practice management and controls.
Monitoring
and active management of the booking process and reservation outputs.
Selecting,
contracting with, and managing the ongoing relationship between the client and
best suited partner properties and services – in association with the Director
of the company.
Monitoring
all ground handling operations including vehicle control and scheduling.
Oversight
of the Company’s bank accounts.
Authorizing
all 3rd party and lodge payments.
Producing
budget reports and monitoring financial performance.
Manage
community outreach projects – funded by the Foundation.
Managing
the on-site community clinic.
Driving
local sales from East African inbound operators.
Assisting
with generating marketing content for multiple channels.
Ensuring
all safety & security matters are well controlled.
Monitoring
financial performance and asset management – especially cost controls.
Monitoring
quality of game drives, guides and the safari experience.
Monitoring
quality of food and beverage offerings and service in general.
Qualification:
Must have a bachelors
degree in a Business related course.
Sensitive and
empathetic when dealing with intricate situations.
Financially numerate
and commercially astute.
Inspired by the luxury
travel and service industries.
Has previous luxury
hospitality experience.
