Title: Sugar Projects Desk Manager and Cotton Project Desk Manager

A company in Kenya is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position: 

Duties will include:

• In the area of his/her assignment, the candidate shall undertake the following activities:

• Participate and coordinate the feasibility study of prioritized projects;

• Direct/coordinate implementation of the new project (s);

• Supervise and monitors the overall project implementation performance and act accordingly;

• Participate in technical supervision and monitoring of projects and enterprises operations;

• Facilitate implementation of working guidelines, manuals and procedures;

• Other duties as maybe assigned by reporting office:

Qualifications

• B.Sc. /M.Sc./Ph.D. in Agronomy/Crop Protection/Irrigation/Mechanization/ Agricultural Engineering or related fields, and

• Experience in agriculture operations management/consultancy/research or related experience. 

• Applicants with B.Sc should have at least 10 years experience; M.Sc should have 6 years and Ph.D holders has to have 2 years.

Duty Station: The duty station is Nairobi with frequent trips to the project and enterprises sites.
