PROGRAMME OFFICER – EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES AND DEVOLVED GOVERNMENT

Transparency International Kenya (TI-Kenya) is a not-for-profit organization that aims at developing a transparent and corruption free society.
TI-Kenya seeks to fill the following position:
Programme Officer – Extractive Industries and Devolved Government

Reporting to the Programmes Coordinator, Governance and Policy
Job Location: Nairobi
Overall Purpose:
To develop and implement interventions on extractive industries that promotes responsible, participatory, transparent and accountable resource management.
The programme officer shall also implement projects to strengthen public participation, promote transparency and accountability in devolved governance;
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Geology, Law and or Political Science. Master’s Degree will be an added advantage;
Three years’ experience in implementation of:
a. Policy and legislative analysis in extractives and related sectors
b. Community engagement in natural resource management
c. Local governance projects and Capacity Development and;
d. Development programs and management of partnerships.
