1. Branch Managers 


Job Ref: HR-BM-10-13

Reporting to the Head of Retail, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the business growth, service delivery and administration of efficient day to day operation of the branch.

Key Responsibilities will include:


To build business relations and grow the deposit portfolio as per agreed targets.
To provide a superior level of customer relations to promote sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation.
To provide leadership, training and supervision and delegate day to day operations to the branch personnel.
Responsible for attaining established Bank and branch goals through active participation in sales management.
Ensuring the provision of high quality and timely services to internal and external customers.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
A university degree preferably in a business related field
ACIB/AKIB Banking Qualifications will be an added advantage
Proven branch management experience in previous roles
Knowledge of local business environment and experience in cross selling and relationship marketing
Strong credit analysis, communication skills and team leading working abilities

2. Marketing Manager

Job Ref: HR-MRKM-10-13

Reporting to Director HR & Shared Services, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives. 


She/he will evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with external clients and manage relationships with key customers and suppliers.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal and external parties.
Manage marketing campaigns/projects and identify research opportunities.
Define, develop and implement marketing procedures relating to policies, products and services in line with the wider business strategies.
Drive the coordination of all strategic initiatives associated with the development of the customer value propositions and brand.
Responsible for the implementation of the Bank’s marketing strategy.
Participates in sales forecasting and the achievement of sales targets.
Carry out market research to identify customer needs and changes in the market.
Liaises with the customer service team to obtain customer feedback.
Prepare advertising briefs and liaise with advertising agencies and printing firms for advertising initiatives.
Prepare and launch branding and marketing initiatives.
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the annual advertising budget.
Partner with relationship managers to coordinate and organize the Bank’s corporate functions and sponsored events.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
University Degree preferably in a Business related field is required
Professional qualification in banking and/or research and/or marketing field will be an added advantage.
3– 5 years experience in banking
A combination of creative and analytical talents. 
Leadership and people management skills.

3. Relationship Managers, SME

Job Ref: HR-RM-10-13

Reporting to the Head of SME Banking, the Relationship Manager, SME will be expected to achieve business growth for the Bank by selling Business Banking Unit products within assigned market segments. 


He/she will also promote and sell other products and services of the Bank to enhance value-added relationship with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Grow the bank's liabilities, assets and NFI in the SME banking sector.
Prepare and submit the branch periodic SME Marketing Plan.
Promote active utilization of the bank's Credit and Treasury facilities to existing and potential clients.
Continuously scan the environment to identify fresh business opportunities and play an active role in product development relevant to the SME Banking sector.
Evaluate credit proposals and ensure the credit applications process on a timely basis with the bank’s set turnaround times.
Effectively manage and expand the relationships with existing SME banking clients and bringing in new partnerships so as to ensure business growth and continuity.
Ensuring continuous improvement in customer service and implementing effective retention of customers within the SME banking framework.
Knowledge and Skills required:
Business Degree from a recognized university with a major in Finance, Marketing and/or Economics.
Relevant post graduate professional qualification AKIB will be an added advantage
Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar position.
Possess Advanced Credit Appraisal Techniques and Report writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizing, analytical and planning skills.
Excellent selling skills and ability to network with internal and external clients.
