Our client, a reliable insurance agency seeks to recruit an Underwriter (Preferably ladies), who are self-starters with good delivery of services to clients.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assessing background information on the client
- Studying insurance proposals
- Calculating the risk
- Deciding how much should be paid out to clients.
- Liaising with professionals and specialists to help judge risk assessment
- Selecting appropriate and competitive premiums based on information and judgment
- Writing policies and adding specific conditions when required
- Deciding whether the risk should be shared with a re-insurer
- Negotiating terms
Skills and Qualification
- A Degree or Diploma holder in Insurance
- Must have 3years of experience as an Underwriter.
- Must have an Insurance Certificate.
- Should be very dynamic with diverse marketing experience.
- Must be able to sign a Service Agreement and Performance Agreement.
- Should be an all-round Underwriter with good Customer Care skills.
- Computer literate with MS Office suite.
- Preferably living in Eastlands.
