Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection of all the incoming materials to ensure that only materials that conform to the company specifications are accepted.
• Carrying out any required analysis on raw materials and finished products as per the laid down operational procedures.

General Manager – East Africa

Our client, a luxury Safari company, is looking for an experienced Touring / DMC Manager to grow its DMC services in the entire region of East Africa. The successful candidate must have significant experience in the DMC sphere – both as a Tour Consultant and Manager – would need to be an entrepreneurial personality who is keen to grow a business from the ground up, and have a proven ability to think on their feet, offer creative solutions and have experience at the upper end of the market. A strong contracting record with tourism suppliers in the region and intimate knowledge of market related margins and selling rates would be essential – certainly in Kenya, but broader regional experience to Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda would be useful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contracting all suppliers, and creating, growing and maintaining supplier relationships.

Manager for a Conservation & Community Development project

Our client, an upmarket safari company, is looking for a self driven Manager to supervise their conservation and community development projects across Kenya and Tanzania. He/She will ensure project fundraising and expenditure is on track and financial reports are accurate and delivered on time to present to Trustees and donors. The role also requires a keen focus on communication, closely working with the team, the communications consultant and in-company social media / digital marketing officer to follow the company’s communications and fundraising strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the team in planning all projects and checking project management plans.
