Messenger 
Grade II

They will also be expected to work during odd hours and also during weekends.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive the assigned motor cycle ensuring the safety of parcels, motor cycle and other road users for the transport of authorized parcels.
  • Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the assigned motor cycle.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the motor cycle including arraigning it for repair using the prevailing procedure
  • Log official trips as per government procedure and policies including mileage, consumption, route etc.
  • Ensure motor cycle documents are current including display of insurance cover at all times observe traffic rules and regulations
  • Report accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor and ensure that steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident.
Key Qualifications
  • Passed suitability Rider test Grade test III
  • Basic knowledge in minor motor cycle repairs and maintenance
  • Capable of defensive riding
  • Defensive Rider’s license from the Automobile Association of Kenya or a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Under the general supervision of the Migration Health Physician (International) in MHAC Nairobi, the direct supervision of the Data Processing Assistant and in coordination with the Migration Health Processing Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for: 

1. Dispatching of files and documents to/from MHAC and designated 
2. Providing clerical support in preparing various technical documents/lists, and 
3. Assisting the Migration Health processing team other medical personnel in laboratory/hospital, maintaining due confidentiality. photocopying medical reports and labeling mail/samples, etc. maintaining an organized flow of applicants throughout the health assessment process. 

4. Any other related duties, which may be assigned by the Migration Health processing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs to camp mobile and stationary equipment.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mobile and
stationary equipment including vehicles, generators, pumps, etc.
Maintain inventory control over equipment and supplies.
Assist the camp manager in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies.

Carry out and take a lead in any extra-ordinary camp activities in order to improve guest experience and the efficient running of the business.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a mechanic is essential.
Experience in a camp is an advantage.
The Mechanic must be willing to work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. 
Ability to work flexible hours and to tight deadlines.
Organized - to keep control over vehicles before, during and after each safari.
Very good communication skills.

Job purpose: Handling delivery and pickup consignments in a safe, professional manner according to company service standards to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction through coordinating with the dispatcher and the express / domestic operations team leader / supervisor.
Key accountabilities
  • Typical duties included are but not limited to:Pickups and deliveries
  • Handle all allocated pickups and deliveries on timely manner to achieve high level of performance as per Aramex quality of service standards
  • Inspect shipment(s) upon pick up at customer side to ensure ground operations policies and procedures are fulfilled.
  • Ask customer to fill in the shipment’s waybill correctly to ensure all necessary information available

  • Check the picked up shipment packing and labeling based on ground operations policies & procedures
  • To ensure the shipment is protected from any damage &/or loss.
  • Update the standard pick up log sheet fully with the required information in order to arrange for smooth receiving process at the warehouse operation & to be used for history tracking purposes.

  • Updating the status of the shipment on system & to be used for history tracking purposes.
Operating environment
  • Driving/Riding most of the time during working day.

  • Physical labor upon delivery and collection processes (walking and driving under different weather conditions).
  • Lifting shipments upon delivery and pick up where the maximum allowed weight to be lifted without using a material handling equipment is 20kg.

SUMMARY
Responsible for operating and tending printing presses. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Operate printing machine.
-Run several presses with different size and color capacities.
-Prepare machines for printing.
- Designing concepts using photoshop, illustrator, indesign or corel draw
-Meeting clients, quotations and delivering design concepts
-Install the printing plate with the images to be printed.
-Press operators prepare machines for printing.
-Ink the presses, load paper, and adjust the press to the paper size.
-Ensure that paper and ink meet specifications
-Adjust the flow of ink to the inking rollers accordingly.
-Guide paper through the press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls.
-Monitor their operation and keep the paper feeders well stocked.
-Make adjustments to manage ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber.
-Correct paper tears or jams.
-Search for and correct problems.
-Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of paper and ink.
-Pull sheets to check for printing imperfections.
-Set up, monitor, and adjust the printing process on a control panel or computer monitor.
-Oil and clean the presses and make minor repairs.
-Perform preventive maintenance.
-Perform digital, electrostatic, and ink-jet printing.
-Transfer files, blend colors, and proof images electronically using digital presses.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Work experience: 
Not less than one year experience in a busy organisation as an offset machine operator

Education: 
Minimum diploma in a related field
