Our client a local Manufacturer and Distributor of high quality fuel-efficient cooking products that saves lives and forest is looking to fill the position of an in-house Visual Designer for their offices based in Ruiru, Kenya. The successful candidate MUST be creative, detailed oriented, ability to take ideas from the engineers and sales executive and turn it into an amazing brand art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the lead creative and designer on our team. WOW us with your creative abilities.
• Design billboards, brochures, posters, packaging, bumper stickers, print ads, and more.
• Design internal communications, templates for presentations, newsletters, and factory signage.
• Help maintain and modify updates on company web site.
• Liaise with printers on production and take the lead on press checks.
• Carry out additional graphic design work on an as needed basis.
• Assist in motion graphics when needed.

Qualification:

• Must share an updated comprehensive portfolio of past work on consumer goods products and experience designing media pieces for above-the-line-marketing.
• Must have College degree.
• 3-5 year’s work experience as a graphic designer.
• A comprehensive understanding of designing for a brand that is competing at an international level.
• Although not essential, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in Website design and management.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 100,000 - 150,000/= (Approx. 1,000 - 1,500 USD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to handle all kind of interiors projects, client meeting, overseeing projects deadlines and work completion.
• Recruit and contract company and project staff.
• Provide recommendations regarding investments and cash strategies.
• Oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit.
• Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company.
