Our client that has developed and implemented a Modern Payment Platform in Kenya that is integrated through self-service kiosks and are able to accept payments for various kinds of services and provide convenience to customers as they pay for internet, satellite TV, airtime, utility payments etc is looking to fill the position of a Commercial Director for their offices based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate MUST be able to work in both B2B and B2C sectors and needs to be a self-starter who will work with current and potential partners on a daily basis, with accountability for leading business development and working with existing clients to grow their business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cooperate with service providers and must understand clients and user’s needs.
• Develop and implement Commercial strategies in order to accelerate Company’s growth.
• Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plan.
• Increase the quantity of Company's points of sales.
• Expand the range of services that Company offers.
• Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams.
• Organize office work and increase the efficiency of business processes (back and front).
• Provide all necessary reports accurate and on time to the HQ.
Qualification:
• Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree. MBA degree is a strong advantage.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Must have experience in sales in electronic payments, banks or telecoms
• Must have strong project management experience.
• Have excellent skills for spoken and written communication.
• Be result driven and able to coordinate teamwork to achieve results in the given time frames.
• Have Strong interpersonal skills and focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Personal network in Communication, IT, and electronic payments area are desirable.
• Experience as a commercial director or other relevant role is a strong plus.
• International experience is desirable.
• Technical background is desirable and a plus.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 150,000/= (Approx. 1,500USD) Plus commission equivalent to Ksh. 150,000 depending on achievement of KPI’s
