Chief Electrical Engineer

Our client one of Kenya’s premier Building & Interior Product Companies with various Retail shops is looking to fill the position of a Chief Engineer. The successful candidate will be reporting to the board of directors and he / she MUST have relevant international department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, installation and maintenance of electrical requirements for complex projects used for large and government corporations.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specification of electrical systems and topography maps to ensure installation and operation confirm to standards.
• Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed to client satisfaction, on time and on budget.
• Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagram and other data to identify and correct power systems problems.
• Responsible for overall design work of  allocated projects that will include particular responsibilities  for the electrical or mechanical service.
• Responsible to ensure the Company quality system is followed in all daily activities.
• Responsible for developing and maintain good working relationship with clients.

Qualification:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• International experience is mandatory for the role.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and a strong personality.

Monthly gross salary: Competitive remuneration plus medical cover
