Finance Manager – Rumuruti, Laikipia

A Meat Processing Company currently operating an Abattoir in Rumuruti, Laikipia County is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will be responsible for implementing the finance policies of the company, financial processing and monitoring the budget on a day-today basis.  The successful candidate MUST have experience working in a Food Manufacturing Company and MUST be willing to relocate to Rumuruti.

Key Responsibilities;

• Advise BOD on financial implications of business activities, and providing leadership to direct reports to the Finance function.
• Controlling income, cash flow, expenditure, receivable payable and inventory.
• Developing and Managing financial systems, processes and internal controls.
• Budgeting and forecasting on a monthly and annual basis.
• Accounting, Tax and legal compliance of the business, including computing all the statutory deductions.
• Coordinating interim and final audit.
• Banking and treasury functions.
• Managing all aspects of manufacturing accounting and inventory control.

Qualifications;

• MUST have a financial management post graduate qualification.
• MUST have a CPA K / ACCA with at least 7 years at Senior Financial position.
• MUST have prior experience in Manufacturing especially Food Manufacturing, Distribution or Retail.
• MUST have an appreciation of commercial negotiations.
• Experience in initiating strategic plans and overseeing change.
• Experience in or a good understanding of the private equity and venture capital industry.
• MUST have an impeccable integrity and diligence.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully under pressure.
• MUST be willing to relocate.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh.200,000 - 250,000/= (Approx. 2,000 - 2,500 USD) depending on experience
