Sales and Marketing Officer - Horticulture
A well-established Manufacturing Company in Nairobi is looking for a Sales and Marketing officer. He /she will be incharge of carrying out market research on new trends and competition as well as identifying and visiting new clients and prospects to introduce the company's new products.
Key responsibilities:
• Make regular visits to already existing customers and introduce new products and get feedback.
• Issue quotations to customers.
• Assist the Manager in ensuring customers orders are delivered on time.
• Preparing and maintaining proper records of all his / her activities.
• Advise the Manager on pricing of products.
• Producing periodic reports based on his / her activities and findings that could assist in decision making.
• Maintenance of all products samples collected from the stores.
• Making proposals on improvements and changes needed to improve the business.
• Attending to customer complaints.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a horticulture/agriculture course.
• At least 1 years’ experience in a horticulture sales and marketing field or general trading.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer packages.
• Able to handle and resolve multiple concurrent demands and adaptable.
• Provide effective solutions to business needs.
• Self-driven, goals oriented and results oriented individual.
• A stickler to work ethics and holds a valid driving licence.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 50,000 - 55,000/= (Approx. 526 - 578 USD)depending on experience
