Civil Engineer (On Contract) – Nairobi, Kenya


Our client, a well – established Construction Company that provides water solutions is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer on a 2 month Contract basis. The successful candidate MUST have relevant experience in engineering and on site project management.

Key Responsibilities;

• Analyze survey reports and other topographical or geologic data plan projects.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures.
• Following construction and governments standards.
• Manage & process customer complaints and/or new requirement processes.
• Compute, load and grade requirements to determine design specifications.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance.
• Direct construction, operations and maintenance activities at project site.
• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations.
• Establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications;

• Must have 2 years working experience in civil engineering.
• Must have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
• Must have building and construction knowledge of materials.
• Must have Mathematics knowledge and its applications.
• Must have Design knowledge of design techniques and models.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good written and spoken English.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 2,000 - 2,500/= Per day (Approx. 20 - 25 USD)

IT / Operations Manager

Corporate Sales Manager at a 5 star Hotel – Nairobi, Kenya

An International High End Hotel in Nairobi is seeking a Corporate Sales Manager. The successful candidate will sell hotel rooms, food & beverage and function space and promote the hotel mainly for the corporate market. He/she MUST have worked for a 4/5 Star hotel in Kenya for a minimum of 4 years, and already comes with his/her own corporate contacts in the Kenyan market. International experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities;

• Identify lead markets.
• Follows, reviews, and advise the superior of ways to improve the Sales and Marketing Standards and Policy.
• Directs sales executives to contact potential business leads, keeping control of heavy booking dates.
• Corresponds with group contacts.
• Provides directions to all concerned departments regarding incoming groups.
