Our client, a high end travel company is looking to recruit a Travel Sales Consultant for their office in Arusha Tanzania. He/she MUST be self motivated with a proven record of exceeding KPI's, strong verbal skills and is very passionate about travel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop valuable customer relationships.
• Receive inbound calls from both existing and prospective members.
• Increase sales through up-selling/cross-selling.
• Offer exceptional customer service.
• Discuss client requirements with the team.
• Plan, prepare and cost itineraries for client.
• Make travel, accommodation and related bookings
• Issue tickets for travel, accommodation vouchers and all the relevant documentation.
• Collect payments and maintain records of transactions.
• Prepare tailor made itineraries to suit the customer needs.
• Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.
• Ensure enquiries are dealt with in a precise manner.
Qualification:
• A certificate/diploma holder in travel related field.
• IATA training will be an added advantage.
• Passionate about sales with the ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in a high end travel industry.
• A strong team player with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
Monthly gross salary: 400 USD plus Accommodation and Work permit
