Salary: Ksh 300,000- 400,000

Our client is an International Glass company. Handling the manufacture and sale of glass containers of all sizes for soft drinks, fruit juice, and jars for food related products
Duties & Responsibilities
  • To manage key sales projects while running promotions, training seminars and onsite trials and testing
  • Maintaining the strong existing accounts in the area as well as growing new business opportunities
  • Plan, direct and coordinate sales operations/team within the assigned territory (Country)
  • Develop business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of set sales targets/profitability
  • Initiate, coordinate & develop action plans to penetrate new markets and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel
  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and advice dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and promotion techniques
  • Market the products in the assigned geographical areas
  • Continually support the company’s range of products to achieve maximum client solution opportunities
  • Interact and develop customer rapport at all levels
  • Recommend and document pricing strategies
  • Regular updating of the client database
  • Tracking infrastructure developments that could lead to new business
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Professional qualifications are preferred
  • At least four years experience in the glass/bottler industry
  • At least eight years experience with three in senior management
  • Preferred age 30- 45 years
  • Comfortable with 100% travel across East Africa
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent management & communication skills
  • Can work under pressure
  • Excellent levels of customer service
