Sales & Relationship Manager – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client based in Nairobi is a growing and ambitious Kenyan local company dealing with Manufacturing, Distribution and Events. They are looking for a Sales & Relationship Manager
The successful candidate will be in charge of an in-house team, to develop and implement both strategic and tactical strategies that bring in tangible profitable results. The individual will also be charged with the growth of the Company’s foot print in the market place.

Key Responsibilities;

• Identifying and enlisting new sales trading outlets: both retail and institutional.
• Manage relationships with current channels to optimize sales.
• Developing the online sales channel for both local and regional sales.
• Developing effective trade and retail strategies to drive-up sales.
• All duties involved in planning, selling and successfully executing company events.
• Managing all logistics on events including contracting suppliers and managing event deliverables.
• Identifying and building strategic business partnerships with both private sector and local government bodies.
• Being the custodian for all administrative documents & marketing collateral used for company events.
• Developing content for web updates and newsletters as well as ensuring websites remain up to date.
• Any other duties that may arise from time to time.

Qualifications;

MUST have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Marketing.
MUST have at least five (5) solid years experience in the Sales and Relationship management field.
MUST demonstrate competency in Sales, with prior exposure to E-marketing strategies.
MUST be a creative and strategic thinker with ability to plan and take leadership.
• Needs to demonstrate excellent communication & writing skills.
MUST be an organized individual with an ability to manage tasks under different environments.
MUST be computer literate – Microsoft Office & Adobe.
• Amiable personality.

Monthly Gross Salary: Competitive Renumeration depending on experience
