Our client, a leading distributor and supplier of Health Care and Scientific Equipment in Kenya is looking for a Customer care representative who will provide customers with first line information on product offering and service information.
- Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
- Updating and recording customer account information.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, recording and communicates the complaint to relevant service personnel. Following up to ensure resolution.
- Maintains customer accounts and processes customer adjustments.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
- devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
- screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
- meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
- dealing with incoming post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;
- Organizing and attending periodic departmental meetings and ensuring that all attending are well prepared for meeting taking minutes and ensuring that all agreed has been followed.
- Preparation of overseas order document in collaboration with the responsible sales manager.
- Verification of goods received in stores against order placed, in collaboration with responsible sales manager.
- Assisting with preparation of customer invoices and co-ordination of deliveries to customers.
- Follow up of payment with customers in collaboration with responsible sales manager. Maintaining records of paid and pending invoices
- Maintaining log of all departmental personnel locations and assignment on a daily basis.
- Any other duties as may be allocated by the departmental Head.
Qualifications & Experience:
- College Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Administration
- At least 2 years experience in a busy organization
- Customer Service,
- Familiarity with a professional work environment
