Our Client, a fast growing Retail Chain of Pharmacies in Nairobi and its environs is seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to assume full responsibility for the strategy, operations and growth. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 10 year experience in a Pharmaceutical Company, Retail, or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and propose strategic plans.
• Oversee the preparation of the budget.
• Ensuring that expenditures are commensurate with the budgeted revenues.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Ensure opportunities for expansion, markets and new sector development.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding statutory stores licenses and permits.
• Oversee the recruitment process of staff; interviewing, hiring and training of employees.
Qualifications:
• Must have a Master’s Degree.
• At least 15 years working experience.
• Must have 7 in a senior management position.
• Experience in retail pharmacy & Pharmacy wholesaling would be an added advantage.
• Must have experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Must have experience in change management with initiating, leading improvement programs, developing and implementing strategic plans and overseeing change.
• Must have experience in sales and marketing and overseeing advisors and contractors.
• Must have experience in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in cost control and commercial negotiations.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 500,000 - 650,000/= (Approx. 5,555 - 6,666 USD)depending on experience
