Facilities Manager

Our client, a leading Global Company diversified in the building and automotive industries is looking for a Facilities Manager to be based in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that the facilities are operated and maintained.
• Ensure facilities are cost-effective and maintained in safe condition.
• Interfaces with the customer’s management regarding contract and customer strategies.
• Review and approve all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Assist with preparation of facility budget.
• Manage, direct and schedule day-to-day activities for assigned properties.
• Ensure that all programs and procedures of the FM staff are implemented.
• Manages contractor specifications, problems, performance and administration.
• Provides the technical and management direction for all FM services.
Qualification:
• Must have knowledge of mechanical and electrical uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
• Knowledge of direct digital control (DDC) systems will be an added advantage.
• Must have bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Must have operational experience in a large FMCG factory environment.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 350,000 - 500,000/= (Approx. 3,888 - 5,555 USD)depending on experience
