Water Sales Engineer

Our Client, a well-established Group of Companies from the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a qualified person to fill the position of Water Sales Engineer. The candidate must have sales experience and exposure in project design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and solicit business for water projects.
• Lead in the development of technical designs and bill of quantities.
• Preparation and submission of tender documents.
• Supervision of contracts for boreholes, piped water and water irrigation systems.
• Design water treatment plants, pump systems, stations and pipelines.
• Designing sewer improvement programs.
• Technical engineering support to sales team aimed at generating sales volumes.
• Build capacity within the sales team through product training and offering.
• Support customers, designers and maintenance engineers in solving hydraulic problems.
• Prepare a weekly, monthly and yearly sales and marketing plan.
• Prepare monthly reports of meetings, leads, project developments.
• Operate according to the approved budget and management instructions.

Qualification:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 3 - 5  years’ experience in the water industry.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have strong work ethics with a strong sense of integrity.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 250,000 - 300,000/= (Approx. 2,777 - 3,333 USD)
