Sales Executive - 5 star Hotel in Nairobi

Our client, a prestigious international hotel company, in Nairobi is looking for a Sales Executive. The successful candidate must have previous experience working for 5 star properties. His / her main responsibility will be to assist the sales manager to sell hotel rooms, food & beverage and function space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business from local agents, companies, organizations and airlines.
• Maintain close contact with existing clients.
• Develop business leads to increase sales.
• Attend daily briefing and departmental meetings as assigned by supervisor.
• Check, review, and propose service standards established by the company.
• Interact with guest and clients in promoting the hotel.

Qualification:

• Must have a Bachelor degree in business specialising in marketing.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in a similar capacity.
• Must have good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Must be Result-Oriented.
• Must have a positive attitude toward challenges.
• Must have a drive to excel.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 100,000 - 120,000/= (Approx. 1,111 - 1,333 USD)depending on experience
