General Manager

Our client, a well established company in Construction and Security Solutions is looking to fill the position of a General Manager. The successful candidate MUST have at least 10 years’ experience in senior level management experience with strong financial skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for daily management and operations.
• Manage workshop activities and production.
• Ensure optimum use of the vehicle fleet.
• Oversee vehicles, their condition and their movements and replacement.
• Manage indirectly all site operations both in and out of the country.
• Manage all financials, budgets forecasts and credit controls.
• Ensuring the company’s control systems are effective at all times.
• Ensuring the Admin & Operations Managers are competent & in control.
• Oversee Human Resource Management indirectly through the Admin Manager.
• Optimum use & development of the Pastel accounting system.
• Review physical and book stock reconciliation’s.
• Ensure all staff has signed health & safety contracts.
• Conduct training needs assessment and ensure all staff are trained.
Qualifications:
• Must have held senior level management position for more than 10 years.
• Must have a technical degree in civil, mechanical or electrical Engineering.
• Masters degree in business administration is an added advantage.
• Must be a strong leader with people management skills.
• Must be a strategic planner.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 300,000 - 350,000/= (Approx. 3,333 - 3,888 USD) depending on experience
