Finance Manager
Our client, a leading Commodity Processing and Export Company with operations across East Africa is looking to fill the position of a Finance Manager. The successful candidate MUST have experience working with SUN accounting system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the company's finance, accounting and treasury affairs.
• Will be working in Kenya and Tanzania to provide leadership to the accounting teams.
• Financial and tax planning and modeling.
• Maintaining the accounting system (SUN).
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cash flow planning and management.
• Oversee payments to suppliers, employees and other business parties.
• Preparation of timely management accounts and financial reports.
• Preparation of annual financial statements and overseeing external audit process.
• Accurately maintain financial records to meet local legal and tax requirements.
• Act as the liaison between the Kenyan and Tanzanian companies.
• Finance team development.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company´s growth strategy.
Qualifications:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and majoring in Accounting / Finance option.
• Must be CPA / ACCA.
• Experience working with an agricultural industry commodity trading and export business is a distinct advantage.
• Must have at least 5 -10 years of experience in financial management.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in senior management.
• Preferably have International / East African regional management exposure.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Work successfully under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills and proficiency in all MS Office applications and accounting software.
• Strong & positive leadership skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh 200,000 – 250,000 (Approx. 2,222 – 2,777 USD)depending on experience& qualification
