Our Client, dynamic Steel Company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. The successful candidate MUST have prior accounting and finance experience in manufacturing (preferably a Steel Rolling Mill).
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce monthly management accounts.
• Check and file statutory returns.
• Oversee payroll for factory and admin staff.
• Cost Accounting.
• Timely management reports, variance analysis preparation.
• Sit in the monthly finance committee meetings.
• Presentation of accounts to board of directors.
• Work with auditors for annual and taxation audit.
• Team management.
Qualifications:
• Must have an MBA/ Degree (Accounting/Finance Option).
• Must be a qualified ACCA, CPA (K) finalist.
• Must have at least 5 years in Senior Level.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Must be 35 years old plus.
• Proficient in MS-Excel, ERP system, MS Dynamics and financial software.
• Must have a driving license.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Should speak either Hindi/Punjabi/Gujarati.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh 400,000 ( Approx. 4,444 USD )
