Sports, Business or Culture Journalists – Point Noire, Congo
Our client, an International News Channel, in Point Noire, Congo is looking for journalists. The successful candidate will need to be a proactive and autonomous individual, fluent in French and have worked as a field reporter for a local or international media company for at least 5 yrs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research information on specific stories.
• Writing, adapting and mixing stories.
• Live shots in case of breaking news.
• Conducting interviews.
• Translating interviews included in certain stories or during live broadcasts.
• Daily writing of stories published on digital platforms.
Qualification:
• Degree in Journalism.
• Extensive experience acquired within a local or international media.
• Expert in video editing skills.
• Strong awareness and interest in international politics, sports and economics.
• Expert knowledge in the specific field: sports, business or culture.
• English native speaker.
• Excellent French speaking and writing skills.
• Ability to work at night and on weekends.
• Imperative geographic mobility throughout African continent.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 150,000/= (Approx. 1,666 USD) plus benefits
