Senior Associate – Commercial Lawyer

Our client, an International distinguished Legal Firm providing a range of services to public corporations and private businesses is looking to recruit a Senior Associate Lawyer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate should be qualified in Kenya, UK or USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist global multi-nationals with business in the region or referring work to Kenya.
• Provide advice on all aspects of corporate governance.
• Represent corporations in structuring their financing transactions.
• Advise businesses in contractual relationships with domestic and international customers.
• Assist with transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and equity investments.
• Provide general legal advice including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Company secretarial duties.
• Legislative and regulatory compliance tracking.
• Provide compliance advice and training.

Qualification:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Master’s degree in Law.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• International experience is preferred.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh 250,000 - 500,000/= (Approx. 2,777 - 5,555 USD)depending on experience
