ICT Manager, Loans Officer (Several Positions)

IMAS Kenya Limited is a Microfinance based in Kenya. It seeks to fill various positions.

 

Job Title: ICT Manager
 
Reporting To: The Executive Director
 
ICT Manager Job Summary
  • The ICT Manager will provide leadership, planning and management of the ICT infrastructure.
  • Ensure that the ICT infrastructure for the current business model and any future growth are properly defined, implemented and maintained.
  • Lead the ICT team to deliver all planned and agreed department and individual performance targets to ensure that the ICT department is efficient and value adding to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary internal and external customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Clearly identify the organization’s long term ICT requirements that will support and deliver the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Develop, maintain and review the organization’s ICT policy and procedures which support the organization’s needs and strategic objectives.
  • Establish a continuous ICT strategic planning cycle which will ensure that the organization benefits from emerging ICT technology.
  • Ensure the organization has appropriate and up to date ICT functionality, software and hardware in an effective, efficient, secure and cost conscious manner.
  • Ensure adequate backup and recovery strategies and systems are in place and reviewed regularly.
  • Manage, evaluate and ensure security concerns for the organization are addressed
  • Establish a fully-fledged Disaster Recovery Plan in tune with the business continuity plan and ensure the plan is document is updated periodically and tested.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Key Competencies Required
  • A relevant degree in computing and professional qualifications in I.T. Those with a master’s degree will have an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of bankers realm.net Core banking applications and operating system
  • At least 4 – 5 years of working experience in senior IT management capacity.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in managing IT service delivery.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Capacity to lead and manage multi-discipline technical staff.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Core operating systems –UNIX and Windows
  • Added advantage to those experienced in a micro-finance environment
Job Title: Loan Officers
 
Reporting To: Branch Managers

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainable growth through the sale of products and services to enable the branch perform to its expectations.
  • Growth and Maintenance of a healthy credit portfolio
  • Preparation and presentation timely & reliable reports
  • Effective record keeping
Key Competencies required:-
  • Be 25 years and above
  • Be a holder of at least a diploma in co-operative management or its equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years relevant experience
  • Should be willing to ride a motorbike
  • Holder of a valid certificate of good conduct.
  • Self-motivated and mature
  • Ability to work with numbers
