Job Purpose / Objective:

The RH Officer will work closely with the sub county health focal persons to strengthen the delivery of quality facility and community based MNH services.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical
  • Participate in the planning, implementation and monitoring of MNH program activities as guided by the project deliverables.
  • Work closely with the sub county RH focal persons in planning and training both community and health facility staff at the county level on MNH competencies.
  • Build capacity of the county health staffs in the supported facilities through supportive supervision in collaboration with the county health management teams.

  • Ensure strengthening of the community referral systems in the targeted community structures.

Monitoring & Reporting

Project Management, Technical Management and Program Development

Key Responsibilities:

Project Activities Planning and Implementation:
  • Overall programmatic and administrative support leadership in the planning, implementation and monitoring of MNH program activities as guided by the project deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance to donor’s rules and regulations at financial level and also on programmatic and technical aspects of the project
Required Qualification / Experience & Competencies:
  • Diploma or degree certificate in nursing, clinical medicine or medicine.
  • Advanced degree in Public health is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years experience in reproductive health programs with at least 2 years experience at project management level.
  • Competent in Windows, MS office programs, email and database (HMIS, EPI-Info) experience.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Management
  • Donor Reporting
  • Track and manage hard donor deadlines regularly and maintain communications with donors

Key Responsibilities
 
Program management:
  • In coordination with the Clinical Services Manager, formulate program goals, objectives and intervention strategies and participate in the budgeting process

  • Identify and follow up on hospital facility and equipment repairs, with the assistance of the CSM
Reporting and Coordination:
  • Review, authorize and keep accurate records of all requisitions, duty rosters and applications for leave
  • Ensure that all HIS statistical reports are accurate and submitted on a weekly basis
  • Evaluation of services through monitoring morbidity and mortality rates through monthly statistical reports.

Vacancy: Nurse Nutritionist

Stock Management:

Job Purpose / Objective:

Programming

Operations

Job Overview / Summary:
 Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the different learning assets invested by the IRC to value and develop IRC workers to assure a proactive, responsive, and adaptable organization to achieve our objectives and mission.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the everyday Learning Management System (LMS) logistical requirements, which include the management of online content, registration of users and designing of curricula. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with online learning resources. Maintain web sites that support online learning programs.  Measure and evaluate.
  • Responsible for the management and administration of organization-wide performance management process via Workday (HRIS).  Develop training modules to enable staff to effectively utilize the Performance Review module. Analyze the learning needs, identify solutions, and present the findings back to the different stakeholders. Measure and evaluate.
  • Responsible for the management and administration of online learning resources outside of the LMS and on the related policies, procedures and processes. These learning resources include, but not limited to, the scheduling of online webinar sessions, maintenance of eCornell certification program, and updating of talent management-related content on IRC’s intranet system. Identify and manage relationship between vendors/consultants/internal stakeholders for talent management programs/projects.  Measure and evaluate.
  • Responsible for the administration of Management Development Program (MDP) related activities.  These activities include, but not limited to, the maintenance of MDP information portal, management of online personality assessment system, tracking of assignments submission, liaising with the facilitation team and generating reports.
  • Responsible for the administration of Talent Management’s data gathering systems.  Create surveys, interpret the findings into meaningful content, summarize the information, generate reports, and then feed the outcomes back to the appropriate stakeholders.  Provide recommendations to management as needed.

Job Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred

  • Good understanding of web page maintenance.
  • Highly proficient computers skills – to include a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and course authoring tools, knowledge of Articulate and Adobe eLearning Suite desirable.
  • Must have proven, outstanding analytical and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in the fast-paced, high volume environment and on deadline; aptitude for problem solving and decision making needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.  
  • Capable of managing conflict and conflicting views.
  • English fluency required. Proficiency in French or Arabic preferred.
