Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop, implement and review an internal communication strategy to meet KENAOs goals
- Develop and manage various internal communication channels such as video, intranet, face-to-face, emails, newsletters, training programs, intranet, new media channels, management briefs, employee forums and blogs.
- Draft speeches for top management for internal audiences
- Provide Communications and Public Relations support for ongoing cultural, organizational change programmes and internal branding aspects
- Collaborate with leadership across KENAO to deliver consistent and effective messages that support the strategic plan
- Manage and coordinator all KENAOs corporate events
- Manage all protocol and complaint management aspects of KENAO
Requirement for appointment
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant discipline and membership of good standing in a relevant professional organization.
- Post graduate education is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years experience, 2 of which should be at a Senior level in Internal Communications;
- Superior analytical, interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate competence in IT
