PRODUCE TECHNOLOGIST

Our client is a world class manufacturer of flexible, quality, Packaging Solutions in East and Central African region. They seek to offer an exciting career opportunity to a dynamic Produce Technologist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct new product development trials, plan, carry out and report on packaging shelf life trials.
• Draft and maintain technical specifications for new products.
• Maintain / amend existing technical specifications as required.
• Maintaining consistency of laser perforation process by conducting regular analysis of the laser manufacturing process.
• Write weekly / monthly reports to management on technical & NPD areas of the business.
• Liaise with customers on NPD & technical matters.

Qualification:

• Must have a minimum of BSc (Hons) level in either food technology, biochemistry or plant biochemistry.
• At least 2 - 3 years’ experience working in the laboratory.
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).
• Attention to detail.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 50,000 - 70,000/= depending on experience
