Our client in the Horticulture industry specializes in production of top quality flowers for export. They seek to recruit a Human Resource Manager to manage a work force of over 300 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment of general and contract workers.
• Draft contracts and J.D’s for new hires.
• Hr administration duties.
• Payroll management.
• Plan and attend welfare meetings as per the calendar.
• Industrial relations - maintain industrial peace at all times.
• Handle employee grievances in accordance with the law.
• Training and development.
• Performance management (KAIZEN).
• Prepare and conduct annual appraisal calendar.
• Human resources policy implementation.
• Participate in internal and external audits such as fire, environmental, safety and health.
• Maintaining employees database and manage of employee’s records.
Qualifications:
• Must have a degree or a higher diploma in human resources management from a certified institution.
• Must be a registered member with IHRM.
• Must demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR objectives within an organization with more than 300 employees.
• Floriculture industry experience is a prerequisite.
• Ability to engage with and win the respect of all employees to successfully influence them on key change initiatives.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 90,000 /= (Approx. 1,000 USD) Plus benefits
