MANAGER - HR ADMIN. & GOVERNANCE – KENAO SCALE 5- 1 VACANCY

Monthly Salary: Kshs.117,686 to 143,048 plus other allowances ranging from Kshs. 57,995 to 75,995
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions:
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Developing, Maintaining and managing employee performance and reward programs;
  • Ensures legal compliance with HR legislation by monitoring and implementing applicable requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Responsible maintaining and managing KENAO Medical Scheme
  • Respond to staff queries and provide relevant guidance and counseling.
  • Advice the management on disciplinary cases involving employee.
  • Allocate duties and supervise support staff
  • Complete necessary ad hoc tasks as requested from time to time

Requirement for appointment
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or other relevant discipline. Relevant post graduate education, certification and Membership of good standing in a relevant professional organization will be an added advantage;
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience, 3 of which should be at a management level in Human Resource;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate competence in IT
