PROCUREMENT OFFICER (JOBS AND VACANCIES IN KENYA SEPTEMBER 2013)

Position Reporting to: Admin & Procurement Manager
Job Purpose / Summary:  Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing requirements of WGKL.
Key Roles:
  • Evaluation and manage supplier relationships
  • Issuing of LPOs
  • Implementation of procurement policies in line with the company objectives
  • Sourcing of goods and services with cost and quality as driving factors
  • Offer procurement support services to all departments within the company
  • Ensure expenses are within the defined budget levels.
  • Preparing minutes and follow up for the Expenditure committee

Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business related field

Professional Qualifications
  • Diploma in CIPS/KISM

Experience
  • 3 – 5 years Experience in procurement field.
  • Experience in Internal procurement best practice
