Title: Human Resources Clerk
Deepa Industries is a dynamic and fast growing ISO22000 certified food manufacturing company. We are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Clerk reporting to the Head of Human Resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining up to date personnel records including filing.
Payroll administration.
Administration of the company time management (clock in) system and calculation of overtime.
Assisting in the recruiting (advertising vacant positions, administering aptitude tests, and induction of new employees).
Coordinating general staff welfare activities.
Preparation of final dues for departing employees.
Preparation of staff contracts.
Preparation and maintenance of the annual leave calendar.
Follow up with DIT reimbursement.
Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
Preparation of monthly management report
Help in implementation of policies and procedures, and assist company managers and the entire staff on HR issues.
Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in HR and one year relevant post graduate working experience or a holder of higher diploma in HR and two years relevant work experience in a busy HR department.
Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Good working knowledge of MS office applications.
Should have good knowledge of the labour legislation and industrial relations practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly paced environment and highly proactive.
Strong interpersonal, coordination and leadership skills.
Quick decision making ability and drive for results.
