Title: Head Chef
Corporate Kitchen is a locally registered company that provides catering (in-house and outside) services and event management (Tents, Décor and Sound) to various institutions in the country.
We are currently looking to fill the current position: Head Chef
We are looking to recruit a fully experienced Head Chef to work along with our other kitchen professionals.
This role requires someone with the ability to comprehensively manage all aspects of a kitchen.
Job Description:
  • planning menus
  • making sure food is of the right quality and price and is produced on time
  • monitoring food production to ensure consistent quality and portion size
  • managing stock
  • ordering food from suppliers
  • controlling a budget and keeping accurate records
  • organizing the kitchen staff duty roster

Job Requirements:
  • a creative interest in food and cookery
  • the ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
  • high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • the ability to organize and plan your own work and that of others
  • strong communication skills

  • the ability to control a budget and work with figures
  • the ability to deal calmly with unexpected situations and crises
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in Food Production or any relevant field.
  • 5 years experience within an established institution.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Medical Certificate of Good Health.
