Title: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Instructor – Contract Position
Job Description: Teaching Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in an accelerated, hands-on environment. Must have a current Cisco CCNA certification and Cisco Certified Instructor required.
Mandatory Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years network administration industry experience.
- Must have a current Cisco CCNA certification.
- Teaching or training experience, with previous instructor-led teaching or training experience with groups of 10 or more students.
- Experience in a business environment with CCNA.
a) Minimum 3 years network administration industry experience and previous experience in course development, instruction, delivery and facilitation of training for adult learner.
b) Technical training experience, technical certification and proven track record in presenting technical information to audiences.
c) CCNA and Cisco Certified Instructor required.
d) Other Cisco Certifications and MCSE certification would be helpful for future curriculum growth.
e) Must demonstrate prior success with high student passage rates for certification exams.
f) Previous experience facilitating blended learning training models (i.e. classroom, web based instructor lead; web based self- directed);
g) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
h) Polished, professional presentation abilities.
i) Prior experience developing and implementing project plans in a corporate environment.
j) Strong interpersonal abilities – must demonstrate active listening and build rapport with diverse learners.
k) High creativity and flexibility.
l) Self-starter who can work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
m)Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with consistent reliable follow-through.
