Title: Household Survey
Supervisor
Company Profile: Kimetrica’s mission is to improve the
quality and accountability of service delivery in the non-profit sector through
the provision technical support in monitoring and evaluation, baseline and
impact surveys, evaluations, training, and performance management information
systems. We are a US small
business with corporate offices in the US, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, and
Moldova.
Kimetrica’s main focus
is on monitoring and evaluation, research and surveys. Our clients include
USAID, DfID, European Union, World Bank, and many international and local NGOs.
The Survey Supervisor
will oversee the implementation of large household surveys in Kenya and Africa.
The Survey Supervisor will ensure that the survey enumeration targets are met
or exceeded and quality standards are rigorously enforced, within the budget
and time constraints.
As Kimetrica’s
front-line survey representative, the Survey Supervisor is expected to take on
assignments of varying lengths of time and may either spend a long periods in
the field and periodically undertake monitoring missions to ensure survey teams
are working to quality control standards.
Specific position tasks
include the following:
Contribute to
development of high quality survey instruments
Develop questionnaires
Supervise field testing
of instruments
Ensure that correct
sampling is implemented, including household listing
Ensure consistent
quality control of all data
Manage survey field
staff, including
Survey team recruitment
and training
Mentoring
Field logistics
Survey budgets
Reporting and client
relations
Ensure consistent
monitoring of all key survey statistics
Provide briefings to the
client as requested by Kimetrica
Data entry and cleaning
Supervise data entry
processes
Contribute to the
development and testing of data capture/reduction systems
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-years
implementing household or facility surveys
Credible proficiency in
the use of SPSS
Proven experience using
CSpro data entry system
Strong analytical,
writing and training skills
Proven track record in
training and capacity development
Strong communication
skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated leadership,
versatility, and integrity
Graduate degree in
Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and or Engineering
