SALES EXECUTIVE (ICT/TELCOM) (KENYAN JOBS AND JOBS IN KENYA OCTOBER 2013)

Position: Sales Executive (ICT/Telcom) 

Location: Kisumu, Eldoret, Nyeri and Nairobi

Our client is an authorized distributors for leading global IT hardware & software brands. 

Their growing brand portfolio includes Acer, Asus, BenQ, Dell, Dell SonicWall, D-Link, EPSON, HP, Huawei, IBM, Lenovo, LINKSYS, Microsoft, Polycom, Rivedbed, Samsung, Sandisk, Toshiba, Tripp-Lite and WD. 

They are currently looking to fill vacant positions of  Sales Executive and the ideal candidates will be based in the following locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, the job holder will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

• Sales and Support – Telephone, Email and On-Site.
• Making presentations and demos.
• Supporting Technical Department.
• Visiting existing clients regularly and prospecting sales.
• Seek new corporate customers.
• Sales Reporting and meeting set targets.

Educational Qualifications:     

• Certificate / Diploma in Sales and Marketing
• Telcom Experience would be preferred
• Knowledge on selling ICT products and solutions
• Capable of being trained on solutions and Products

Work Experience: At least 1-2 year in sales and marketing.

Desirable traits:

• Excellent communication skills; both oral and written in English and Kiswahili; 
• High level of integrity, highly motivated and self-driven individual capable of working independently and has ability to use own initiative
