The Kisii County Public Service
Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following
vacant positions as per SECTIONS 45, 50, 51, 58 and 63 of the County Government Act
2012.

Reporting to the Systems
Administrator, the ICT Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:

and Responsibilities
- Performing system analysis and suggest recommendations in liaison with user.
- Performing basic technical support for both hardware and software
- Drawing and maintaining ICT equipment inventory.
- Ensuring adherence to established ICT standards and policies.
- Logging of ICT problems.
- Performing system installation, configuration and renew software licenses.
- Recommending and supervising hardware/software specification for information communication technology equipment
- Repairs and maintenance of information communication technology equipment and associated peripherals
- Drawing scheduling preventive maintenance of ICT infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting of general ICT problems at the user level.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Systems Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent from a University recognized in Kenya.
- A post graduate diploma in Computer Science, Hardware, Network Administration, maintenance of software support is an added advanced.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience.
- Good administration, organization and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task, motivate and lead others.
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
Remuneration
- Basic salary: Kshs.31, 020 – 41,590 p.m.
- House allowance: Ksh.10, 000 p.m.
- Other allowances: Ksh.5, 000 p.m.

- For a candidate to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution, one must have the following current clearance certificates:
- A certificate of Good Conduct from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
- A clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- A tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- A certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
