Title: Plant Pathologist
Our client is a well established, prominent Kenyan agri-services company that offers farmers’ laboratory, precision agriculture and farm advisory services. These services combine science and technology with innovative solutions to increase farmer’s yields.
Their mission is to provide accurate, fast and affordable analytical reports and professional crop nutrition advisory services to their customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- At least 4 years experience in crop disease identification in a laboratory environment
- Experience in plant parasitic nematode identification
- Experience in ELISA and PCR diagnostic techniques
- Experience in providing recommendations in soil & crop disease management
- Good knowledge of soil microbiology
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in agriculture, plant pathology, bio chemicals or relevant industry.
- Minimum 5years experience in plant pathology.
- Nematology in a lab environment.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 150,000 (Approx. 1,700 USD) plus benefits
