To support our Marketing department, we are looking for dynamic,
proactive professional with strong credentials &relevant work experience to
fill the above position.
Reporting to: Chief Marketing Manager
Liaises with Branch Management, Heads of Departments, Head
Office Managers and Branch staff
Job Purpose:
To drive and deliver excellent business performance through
continuous product development and innovation to satisfy evolving customer
needs profitably.
The Job
- Carrying out market research for new products and/or improvement of existing ones including upgrades and customization; as well as research on performance of existing products in the market
- Conceptualization and development of new products that provide a competitive edge for Family Bank whilst maximizing commercial viability.
- Preparation of documentation on products, both for internal use as well as external use
- Identification of opportunities within existing and prospective customer base of Retail, Corporate and Institutional clients to package and offer Family Bank products
- Continuous evaluation of existing products for relevance and viability
- Actively participate in preparation for product launches and post-launch support
The Person:
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of Four (4) years relevant work experience in Product Development.
- Understanding of the requisite legal framework, in particular the Banking Act and Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) prudential guidelines and clearing procedures.
- Understanding of banking Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework.
Competencies
- High level of professionalism and professional development.
- Management and leadership ability: Have excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
- Computer skills: Adept in use of Ms Word, Excel, Access, Power-Point, Internet and email.
