Title: Business Development Officer
Farm Africa, an international not-for-profit organization is working to end hunger and bring prosperity to rural Africa. We work to increase the incomes and improve food security of smallholder farmers, pastoralists, agro-pastoralists, and forest dwellers in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan.
The Kenya country office is currently recruiting competent and highly motivated persons for an EU-funded project in Kitui County, to fill the following position: Business Development Officer
Duties:
Will develop commercial opportunities for farmers in the sorghum and green gram value chains and train farmer organisations in agribusiness development and marketing.
Requirements
A degree in a related field with expert knowledge of marketing and out grower supply chains.
Commercial experience required.
