Title: ICT Technologist (1 position)
St. Luke’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital is a leading specialist Health care provision center situated in Eldoret Town along Nandi road opposite Moi University School of Dentistry. (About 0.5 km from Eldoret Town).
We seek for suitably qualified and experienced Kenyan citizen who is dynamic, self-motivated and results oriented with excellent transferable skills, high integrity and a proven track record of achievement in the past roles for the following Positions.
Reporting to: The Hospital administrator
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide policy directions on ICT systems and advice on all ICT Related issues.
- Carry out system analysis, design and program specification in liaison with the users.
- Develop, implement and maintain systems.
- Compile overall systems documentations.
- Supervise installation certification, carryout repair and maintenance of all ICT equipment and associated peripherals.
- Recommend and supervise hardware /software specification for ICT equipment’s.
- Prepare ICT status reports.
- Provide user support including staff training, security, confidentiality and integrity of information and ICT infrastructure.
- Management of Hospital website, Internet, the LAN, WAN with other areas concerned.
- Schedule prevention maintenance of all ICT equipment in the organization.
- Keep updated with emerging information technology trends.
- Maintain budgetary control of the department.
- Perform any other duty assigned by the hospital management.
The applicant should have a degree in Information technology or any other related profession from a recognized university with a minimum of three (3) years working experience, work experience in a hospital set up is an added advantage.
